Meerkat Roofing Project Portfolio
Real roofs. Real homes. Real results across Greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

Skylight Replacement & Roof Repair
This project involved a full skylight replacement along with structural framing improvements to ensure a long-lasting, leak-free installation. The existing skylight was carefully removed and the curb area was rebuilt with new framing to provide proper support and correct roof integration. We installed ice and water shield membrane around the entire skylight curb to create a watertight seal and protect against moisture intrusion. New metal flashing was installed on top of the skylight system to direct water safely away from the unit. The surrounding roof area was then re-shingled using asphalt shingles matched to the existing roof, ensuring a seamless appearance while restoring full weather protection. The result is a properly flashed and sealed skylight installation that blends perfectly with the roof while providing improved durability and leak prevention.

Asphalt Shingle Roof Replacement
This project involved the complete removal of the existing worn asphalt shingles and preparation of the roof deck for a new roofing system. After stripping the old roofing materials, the roof deck was thoroughly inspected to ensure a solid base for the new installation. High-quality synthetic underlayment and ice & water protection were installed in critical areas to provide enhanced moisture protection and long-term durability. New asphalt shingles were then installed across the entire roof, following manufacturer specifications to ensure proper alignment, ventilation, and weather resistance. All roof penetrations, flashing areas, and valleys were carefully sealed and reinforced to prevent future leaks. The project was completed with ridge cap installation, site cleanup, and magnetic sweeping to remove nails and debris from the property. The finished roof provides a clean, uniform appearance while significantly improving the home’s protection against rain, wind, and seasonal weather conditions.

Tile Roof Repair
This tile roof repair project involved addressing severe wood rot in the roof decking around the chimney area. The damaged roofing tiles were carefully removed to expose the affected section of the roof structure. All rotted decking was replaced to restore the structural integrity of the roof. A high-temperature waterproof underlayment was installed to provide enhanced protection against moisture and heat buildup. New roof battens were installed to properly support the tile roofing system and ensure proper water drainage. To improve long-term protection around the chimney, a custom metal cricket flashing system was fabricated and installed to redirect water away from the chimney area. New chimney flashing was also installed to create a fully sealed and watertight transition between the roof and masonry. After completing the flashing and waterproofing work, the original roof tiles were carefully reinstalled and secured, restoring the appearance of the roof while ensuring improved durability and protection against future leaks.

North Vancouver Metal Roof Install
This project involved the installation of a durable standing seam metal roofing system on a residential property in North Vancouver. The existing roof was carefully prepared to ensure a solid foundation, followed by installation of high-performance underlayment designed for long-term weather protection. Our team installed precision-formed metal panels with secure fastening and professionally detailed flashing around all roof transitions to ensure a watertight system. Standing seam metal roofing is known for its exceptional durability, resistance to heavy rain and snow, and modern architectural appearance. The finished roof provides the homeowner with a long-lasting, low-maintenance roofing solution that enhances both the protection and visual appeal of the property while performing well in the challenging coastal climate of the Vancouver area.
